Welcome to Pro-Life Berks


Pro-Life Berks began in 1998 when Reading Planned Parenthood began doing abortions – killing babies. The Pro-Life movement faces ever-increasing challenges with the new strongly pro-choice administration. With renewed commitment and passion Pro-Life Berks continues our prayerful and peaceful efforts. We continue to be a visible force for the unborn innocents. At Reading Planned Parenthood each Tuesday when abortions are done, we pray together, do sidewalk counseling, and hand out information to the girls where they can get help and make the decision to save their babies. We continue to have "saves" – when a woman changes her mind and decides not to have an abortion but to keep her baby. Praise God!

Our other efforts to protect the unborn include a monthly newsletter with over 400 circulation, bi-monthly half hour TV program on BCTV, periodic bill-boards, organizing the 40 Days For Life campaigns for Reading/Berks County as part of the national 40 Days For Life campaigns, co-sponsoring the Reading Christmas Creche display at 5th and Penn Streets and providing various educational pro-life materials to the community.
